This Community of Practice session will present the UVMIS resources (toolkits, guidelines and the curriculum) successfully developed by the project partners to support educational institutions and sport organisations in volunteer managers capacity building. The core purpose of this meeting is to share a clear pathway for all stakeholders working with volunteers and volunteer managers on how they can initiate the journey of professionalizing their volunteer managers.

Through guided strategic discussions, participants will be able to better understand how to identify the level of volunteer manager training required based on the level of activity delivery and volunteer engagement. Volunteer management differs with each stakeholder, but the basic principles remain the same. In conclusion, the participants will define the future of volunteer management in terms of training and recognition in the industry. Participants will propose strategic partnerships in Europe that are necessary for achieving the shared vision for volunteer managers in sport.
